Being a good corporate citizen means giving back to the communities where we work.

We’ve received many awards and recognition for workplace practices, innovation and printing from a variety of national, industry and local organizations. Not surprising, as we place a strong focus on strengthening our culture and being a place where our employees are proud to work.

Community

Giving Back

We believe companies with great cultures achieve great results, and part of being a responsible corporate citizen is giving back to the communities where we do business. Throughout the year, we donate to many deserving organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Make A Wish, local food banks, animal shelters and veteran organizations, under the direction of our associate-based Giving Committee.

Award-winning Culture

We continually look for ways to strengthen our culture. Valassis has received numerous awards recognizing our workplace flexibility, culture, growth and technology.

Environmental Sustainability

We are committed to reducing waste at our manufacturing facilities, operating as non-polluting manufacturers, recycling and sourcing recycled products on an ongoing basis. This commitment to environmental stewardship is evident in the way we produce our products and operate our business.

Hope for Missing Children

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is an organization close to our hearts. In May of 1985 we first launched the Have You Seen Me?® program and have since grown this program across our RedPlum portfolio. It continues to deliver hope. We take our corporate citizenship responsibility seriously.

We firmly believe that our success is tied to the well-being of our associates, the communities where we do business and where our associates work and live.

153 Recovered Children

Valassis and NCMEC have been reuniting missing children with their families for more than 25 years. The first Have You Seen
Me?® card was distributed in 1985. Today, missing children can be found across our RedPlum portfolio in the mail, the newspaper and on redplum.com.

Environment

Our commitment to the environment is company-wide, but it is most evident in our printing facilities in Durham, North Carolina; Livonia, Michigan; and Wichita, Kansas. Our associates are equally committed with office programs in place and Green Teams formed to further this effort.
